Privacy policy

We value your privacy. This page sets out what we collect, how we use it, and how you get it removed. Written plainly, because nobody enjoys reading these.

  • Mobile number — only if you choose to receive WhatsApp updates
  • Anything you volunteer — contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, comments

Non-personal

  • Browser type and version
  • IP address and referring site
  • Time, date, pages viewed, links clicked
  • Location, if you enable it

Cookies

How we use your information

  • Personalise your experience on the site
  • Improve performance and usability
  • Respond to enquiries and comments
  • Send newsletters and updates — only if you opt in
  • Send WhatsApp updates — only if you opt in (see below)
  • Analyse traffic with tools like Google Analytics

WhatsApp updates

  • We ask for your mobile number only when you tick the box to receive WhatsApp updates. If you subscribe by email alone, we do not collect it.
  • WhatsApp updates may include new recipes, travel stories, trekking adventures and occasional promotions.
  • We send WhatsApp messages only to subscribers who have given us permission to do so. We keep a record of when that permission was given.
  • To deliver these messages, your phone number and the message content may be processed by WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta.
  • You can withdraw your permission at any time by asking us to stop. Reply to any of our WhatsApp messages or email wanderlust.foodies.gv@gmail.com and we will stop sending you WhatsApp messages.
03

Sharing your information

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share information with:

  • Service providers such as email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ConvertKit)

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.
